American Psychiatry Association – Nine-point checklist for NPD
• Subjects displaying five of these traits are considered medically impaired to some degree and are classified as having narcissistic personality disorder:
1) Lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others.
2) Is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her.
3) Shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes.
4) Has a grandiose sense of self-importance.
5) Is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited power, success, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love.
6) Believes that he or she is “special” and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people.
7) Requires excessive admiration.
8) Has a sense of entitlement, unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations.
Thank you, Thomas, for pointing out what I have been saying for months. We are dealing with mental illness, folks. Don’t sugar coat it. Our little trumpy tinpot is as mad as a hatter, though without the mercury poisoning. This is just now dawning on people, though it has been obvious from the start of trumpy’s campaign. Had he not been born into a rich family, he’d likely be the crazy old guy at the end of the bar at closing time muttering to anyone who would listen about how big his brain is…not to mention the enormous size of his hands. Oh wait, that IS what he mutters to anyone who will listen.
The problem is now, however, that this man is so easily manipulated by Bannon and his ilk, and they are the source of the moves that could be destructive of our nation…and will be, if no one stands up to them.
And the GOP has apparently decided to follow his lead by moving cabinet candidates without a single Democrat. Kiss democracy goodbye, folks. This is a coup by the right. Period.
