You know, your Maj, the living room area is fantastic. Nice large pool as well. And I think he still owns the Van Gogh….

But I think you’re better off purchasing a TARDIS.

Pab, I know it scant comfort to you, at this time, but while you’ve lost this home, you’ve also lost a headache and heartache. Been there, done that back when the banks and mortgage companies screwed everyone in 2008 ! Once the housing market tanked, there was no sense fighting to recovery equity ( particularly at my age ) that I wouldn’t see for another 10 years !

Like a divorce, it hurt, but the relief that it was over far outweighed the pain.

Maybe you might like apartment life. It can be small, there is no financial benefit beyond what money you may save in rent. No perks from the govt, but you will have all the amenities of civilized life.

Does it come with a Van Gogh?

I got a decent raise today and just used some of it to add a little to Pab’s house fund.
