Its not about catching. Its all about the chase!
Our dog doesn’t even bother to chase them any more. He’s lazy, I think – or maybe just very smart. His attitude toward a tossed stick seems to be “You threw it; you go get it.”
we have no squirrels on our property. we have four cats, and a heeler to supervise.
It’s 36 hours, there are only 210 minutes in 3.5 hours
at least he got some exercise…
From watching my dogs, and the squirrels, it appears that the chase is the whole point of the exercise.
According to the dogs I have had in my life the catching is not near as fun as the chasing. Time well spent Koko!
