Would have set a bad precedent. Start prosecuting people for things that aren’t illegal but are not wise and we’d end up with the impeachment of the new president before he took office.
Anyone who thinks (?) President Elect Trump’s statement that he will not request a special prosecutor to look in to clinton’s shady emails is delusional. Both the House and Senate are continuing to look in to her email scandal and an invigorated FBI/DOJ, once the obama political hacks have been fired, could easily reopen their investigations should further evidence warrant it. And lets not forget the ongoing FBI criminal investigation in to the clinton charity slush fund! Over? Not hardly.
The minor improprieties that may have happened in the Clinton Foundation do not compare to Trump’s use of his “Foundation” as a personal slush fund. The main evidence of Clinton impropriety were secondary to internal efforts to actually prevent abuse. No such efforts exist in the Trump Foundation.
The most dangerous thing in the world is a dissatisfied customer. Many unsavory characters paid Hillary a lot of money for access to a Clinton administration. They are probably quite dissatisfied about losing their investment.

Now it’s Trump’s turn to take the heat, but he seems to wear Nomex, not Teflon.
