    We’ll pull it together, step one is a vote on Obama’s nominee. That would go a long way to showing the Republicans are serious about wanting the country to come together. Otherwise they are just wanting the Democrats to do something they have been unwilling to do for the last eight years.

    LAMENTATION {a limerick}

    We’ll soon cry in lamentation

    that damage is done to our nation: -

    - The vote-day was spent

    in expressing dissent

    in ways which give chaos gestation.

    BUYER’S REMORSE {… a rhyme …}

    Many a Trump-promoter

    and many a deluded Trump-voter

    will have Buyer’s Remorse

    that the arse of a horse

    sits on the throne.

    It’s just like the Sisyphus story:

    things don’t go hunky-dory

    when voters push up a yuuge stone.

    TRUMP’S GUNNERS STRAFE {a limerick}

    America is less and less safe

    as Trumpsters continue to strafe.

    We hide and cringe;

    this Trumpian binge

    causes our nation to chafe.

    It amazes me how much of a short memory Toles has with regard to the primaries and the election itself. The Democractic Party was split into two halves and rather than connect the two Clinton decided to forgo the Sanders supporters and focus on Republicans who couldn’t stand Trump. Little did she realize that they weren’t gonna vote for some stinking liberal, much less a Clinton. Then she went all negative by focusing on his profanity and the child molestation allegations (which some on this board also pushed like Crow Nobo), which the whole of America did not care about (see election night). And let’s not forget the media who basically spent the entire election season focusing on Clinton and trashing Trump. The result: a fractured America that ended up voting for the megalomaniac instead of the war monger.

    Yet somehow he bares the blame for why America is so divided. But don’t get me wrong he’s still an a(word) and our president.

    And America didn’t care about Monica, only the crazed Republicans.Clinton ran a bad campaign, and it’s interesting that the molestation charges against Trump were dropped very quietly 4 days before the election. Payoff anyone?

    The Repubs will NOT vote on Obama’s nominee, but whine and bitch like babies when the Dems turn the tables.They have NEVER been interested in “uniting” this country, unless it’s under the banner of White, Judeo-Christian authority.A total misreading of our founders’ philosophy.

    So, now the Rethuglicans are happy and gloating. The Russians are also happy with Drump’s win as are al Qaeda and Isis. They feel that his election is the beginning of the death of America. I even have a quote from an al Qaeda twitter feed for you to chew on.

    .

    I believe @realDonaldTrump can bring utter ruin and destruction on the United States. I’m so excited right now. #MyPresident

    .

    What have you Rethuglican wrought. Well for one you have made the terrorists happy. Congratulations.

    If you don’t know how to exploit the election law loopholes to your own advantage and direct your discourse to the common people (e.g. Bernie may have been a better choice) you’ll never get elected.

    .

    It’s over, the cleverest strategy worked. I’m waiting to see if the new administration will function as promised. Who really knows. There are many counter-intuitive things in this world.

    Maybe some rogue votes (electoral college electors) can happen in the state capitols on December 19, thereby preventing the trump disaster presidency.

    As a DJT supporter living in California, I am so happy that the rest of the Country did not let me down. Thank you.Liberal voters in overpopulated states like California is why I like the Electoral College.

    Yes, I remember “pin pricks”. Sudetenland, Danzig, Trieste; then the big action: Austria, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Denmark, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Belgium, Norway; and the world woke up and jointly engaged in a bloody effort to put an end to it. I liked geography in grade school, so I remember it directly. Those who refuse to learn from history…

    Drumpf is such an idiot he believes he can be the kind of horrible human he was throughout the campaign, and we’re supposed to completely forget about that now and unite behind a scumbag who didn’t even win the popular vote.
