I read an article recently about an aged Jewish person who happened to have been around during 30’s and 40’s and witnessed one of the gatherings of Hitler and his acolytes. The person compared that to a recent visit to hear Trump speak to his disciples. The person got frightening chills as the atmosphere and the words coming from the speakers and the audience reaction was so similar to what they had witnessed all those years ago. Not saying this was absolutely true, as I read about it, but I do tend to believe it a whole lot more than I disbelieve it.
It wasn’t Trump who caused the deaths of 4 Americans in Benghazi by refusing them aid when they pleaded for it, then, when called on it, said; “What difference does it make now?”
What difference Mrs Clinton? Ask the families of the dead Americans.
Besides, Trump cannot be Hitler. Trump has a much better comb over and he’s not a vegetarian as was Hitler. Nor is Trump consorting with his own nieces then having them murdered as did Uncle Adolph.

Exactly right. How was a 69-year old lady with breathing problems threatening a much younger male Trump supporter? But perhaps in a way she was: The worst nightmare of bullies is that their victims might fight back.

The NPPNo child, I was around when they were still advancing. I knew people with numbers tatooed the length of their forearm because they were infants when it was applied. I remember the trials at Nürmburg when the gory details were made public to the world. And I have studied enough history to know how that came to be (the part of that history which happened before I had learned to read newspapers). .I even know that legally we are still at war with the Third German Empire because no peace treaty has been proposed, much less ratified by two-thirds of the Senate. (We are still at war with the Second German Empire too, because the Republicans defeated the treaty to end that one.) That means that supporting Nazi positions is treason under Article III Section 3 of the Constitution.

A friend was a young girl in Austria when Hitler came in and everyone cheered and thought he was great! After the war she married a GI and came to the states. Her first hand experience is why she sees the danger in Trump, and his more radical supporters. The comparisons are not at all unreasonable. Trump just inherited wealth and position, and a media that in giving him billions of dollars worth of coverage for free has provided him the audience for his rantings, and lies.
