Here, put the pumpkin in the polar bear enclosure. He’ll be safe there.
I bet Lio likes to watch them sag and change color as they are eaten by bacteria and fungus.
A case could be made that it is therapeutic for the Bullies to work out their aggressions on used jack o’lanterns.
But Lio has a understandable attachment for his vivified Jack, his pal, who deserves a better fate!
Somehow, it seems like the pumpkin looks sad or scared in the second panel and happy in the first and last panels. Or is that just my imagination?
