I don’t get the impression that anyone in the mid-east, or out of it for that matter, wants peace in the region, they just want to kick everyone else out. You’re just not allowed to talk about it because it’s usually for some goofy religious division.

The civilized part has yet to regain control over the USA again if it ever had control at all. We do have a military that would make any empire proud.
