He’s got rock stars beat—they don’t destroy their instruments while they’re playing them! :-) Maybe Horace should consider becoming a Thereminist instead (the Theremin is an electronic musical instrument that is played without touching it at all [the famous, eerie theme of the movie “Spellbound” features a Theremin, as do the instrumentals “Lunar Rhapsody” and “Radar Blues”], using body capacitance to control its pitch and volume—a sapient horse could play a Theremin better than a human). Horace could even play a Theremin using his hind hooves while lying on his sofa—which might make Melody wonder whether he was being a showoff or just lazy—or even both simultaneously! :-)
