Um what was Obama supposed to do if he came a couple days earlier? Is he expected to be Moses & part the flood waters ? He immediately released FEMA funds upon request from the governor. The same one who asked President Obama not to come for a few days so their scarce resources weren’t diverted for his security detail

Ramirez you are part of the problem.

FEMA was on the job, volunteers were organized and first responders did an excellent job, on an event that came as a “surprise” and was NOT predicted days in advance like Katrina was. Obama leaving the area alone until things were under control, instead of messing things up to provide standard “security” for him in the midst of the mess, was the best thing a POTUS can do! But, hey, I only had 40 years experience as a first responder, firefighter, and rescue person, so what should I know???
