For some odd reason, “My retina just detached” made me LMFAO. Some things just kinda hit you funny, eh?
That being said, there is no explanation for this.

I haven’t read WaPo (print edition) in many years, but back then it had a pretty good comics section. I’m not taking time here to answer all the poll questions, but on the Jeffy-Rat Scale, I’m 100% Rat!

I remember a time, (early 1970s, I think) when the Washington Post attempted to emulate the New York Times by attempting to remove its comic section. Apparently, they started losing too many subscribers. That was the time, I left them.

The newspaper when I was growing up several times tried to get rid of a corny family oriented strip, Priscilla’s Pop. Reader protests always brought back. Heck, I liked that strip myself. It really is gone, now, though.
