Let’s just call it S&M Ball. As played by a deranged ball of purr-fur.

Hey Bucky, IF you have “No Goalies” WHY would you have “Back-up Goalies with slingshots?”

Panel five sound like it was inspired by my idea for the penalty to be administered to people who leave their turn signals on. After five minutes of continuous signalling (to allow for time spent waiting at long stoplights), if you haven’t made the turn yet, the car will do it automatically..Even if you’re on a bridge.

Number Four actually seems like a GOOD idea.

Panel 5 has my vote. Did you know that La Liga teams have training sessions for fake injuries

I can support the regulation on making fake injuries real. Why reward deception and dishonesty?

This strip, and the comments, remind me of Hunter S Thompson’s last column, Shotgun Golf With Bill Murray. http://espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?id=1992213

I’m an American. I proudly admit that my favorite sport is soccer. I love the idea of refs as MMA fighters inflicting injuries!

Soccer, futbol, the only time running around aimlessly gets you a trophy for just showing up.

Even with Bucky’s new rules in place, Soccer would still be the most boring game in the world to watch! (And, yes, I’m aware of Cricket – but we’re referencing “Sports” here – not “Total Wastes of Time!”

I’ll support the rule about giving the players the injury they fake.

I have to admit that his reaction to faked injuries actually does make sense, in any sport. The only other addition, and this also applies to all sports, cheating (e.g. deflate-gate) results in automatic forfeiture of the impacted game(s) upon discovery.

Little known fact: Notre Dame initially didn’t have a hockey team because they didn’t want to have a bunch of big Irish guys wielding sticks.

I love and have played American football, appreciate the toughness of rugby and hockey, but Hurling is truly a wild sport that I watch with relish but wouldn’t step foot close to the field.

I think number 4 is both fair and warranted.
