My cats too. The funny thing is that they regularly watch movies with me and the explosion sounds from the home theater is much louder than what fireworks sound like from inside the house.I don’t think I’ll ever be able to figure out what goes on inside a cat’s brain.
One of the cats, a giant ginger tabby named Sandy, hunkers down and slinks to safety when there’s an approaching thunderstorm. I think he senses the change in barometric pressure. I don’t remember his being phased by fireworks.
All fireworks are illegal in our state except professional showings. We start hearing them go off on Memorial Day weekend and people keep setting them off, illegally, through New Year’s Eve.

Fireworks are ho-hum to our cats, but our 85 lb dog will be a basket case for days.

3 hours to Canada day fireworks at Vic Beach! Blackie won’t bat an eye,likes thunder storms too!
