Business Cat isn’t happy with the delay to your Project

This is my cat, Misty, relaxing in the long grass, photo was taken last summer.

Now a funny thing has happened today. I took Misty in in December 2013, and was told she was four years old with her birthday in December. She was microchipped before I had her, and I updated the ownership details when I got her. I received an email this morning from the database, it was a routine annual details check. This year I thought I would check the details (I don’t normally), and I discovered that you can upload a picture and thought I’d do that as it’s handy if she does go missing (hopefully not!).

I was looking at the other details and found the date of registration and the date she was microchipped. The date was March 2008, over a year and a half before the date I thought she had been born.The upshot is Misty isn’t six and a half years old, she’s actually eight and a half years old!!Time to start to move her onto ‘Senior’ food………

I logged in this morning (EDT) and checked what was posted yesterday since I was on around 11 am EDT and saw I touched a nerve. You would think in this era of pot being legalized in more and more states, that four letter work I bleeped out for pot wouldn’t offend anyone. By the way, I hope my state stays out of the pot trade, but that is just my opinion. Thanks to all who rose to my defense.

Nice neighbor was separating her lilies yesterday and was offering them to whomever. Maxie and I took a bagful home and planted them out back in between the downpours. Cool and wet all day…not complaining.

@beviek: that orange cat who was startled and then walked away on it’s hind legs….I saw my Oliver do that not too long ago…where is the video camera at such times!!!!???-———————————-Oh man….is it raining right now….my plants must be SO happy.

@Queen: Wonder why so few adoptions in May. The cats looked adorable in their little caps. You should post those pics here. I wonder if the cats knew how cute they looked.————————————————————————I have a feeling a neighbor’s chubby indoor/outdoor cat is more than chubby.

Gorgeous weather here today. Was out in the backyard, looked up and saw 3 seagulls (yes, all the way in the midlands). One had something in its mouth, I couldn’t tell what it was, which it then dropped and was expertly caught by the seagull below. It looked like a deliberate maneuver. Wish I’d had my camera to catch it.
