one happy kitty!

Once, CC RAIDER, escaped outdoors…then a bona fide HUGE thunderstorm rolled thru…we “found” her cowering in the lilac bushes…she grasped my chest and didn’t let go for over an hour…just like a carrier except she used her paws to hang on…never had trouble with her escaping again…miss my kitty still.

My cats can never know such a thing exists!

This is from real life. On the website, Georgia has a photo. She said that he purred for 45 minutes when she put him in the carrier and she was able to draw her comics!(I have difficulty, I’ll admit, imagining Elvis actually purring)

…LOL, I’ve always said that male cats were “needier” than females (in my experience), and Elvis is a male Siamese, yet; doesn’t get much needier than that…

Georgia, only a cat person…! AND, Elvis has the double whammy of baby scent and Woman scent — PURRRFECT! I LOVE the expressions on everyone in the last panel. One of our BCs has been a Velcro dog lately. I think he’d love the Koala Wrap, but at 65# we wouldn’t get very far. Maybe a thunder shirt….

I have an animal story for all the nice animal lovers here. My babysitter’s dog Bear, must be the smartest dog ever. He actually stops eating when he is full. Other dogs go:MMMM! YUMMY! throws up Hey, why are you cleaning that up instead of feeding me more?"Not Bear.

My dog does this to me.She is a bit big for me to use that solution.

One of the cats I used to have (RIP, sweetie) seemed to think that a thunderstorm was God putting on a show for her. She went straight to the French doors and sat there watching through the whole storm. Every other cat/dog I’ve had looked for a hiding spot. But not her…I think she thought it was a show that the sky put on a show occasionally…just to amuse her.
