In 1983 (the year this strip originally ran) some guy in Germany claimed to have found Hitler’s 60-volume personal diary in the attic of a home he was renovating. He sold the serialization rights to West Germany’s “Stern” Magazine. They had already started printing excerpts when it was finally exposed as a hoax.

I observe that the Forger is left-handed (or “left winged,” or “left-flippered,” as you may prefer).
This probably is not significant, except in the Visual Clarity In the Sequential Arts sense….
