right… Snoopy sleeping and typewriting on a yellow dog house… like THAT will catch on

Of course we won’t be seeing the “Snoopy” over his door once Schulz drops the perspective angles.

I know so many people like that! They ask your opinion and then do the opposite.

It was about a month ago that it seemed clear that Snoopy was Charlie Brown’s dog. Now Schroeder and Patty are painting the doghouse and asking about the colour, not as if he’s asked or hired them to do it, but merely as if they’re asking for his opinion. He’s flattered, as if he didn’t expect to have a say in the matter. And in the end, he didn’t. Suddenly Snoopy seems less like he’s Charlie Brown’s dog again.

Of course, a few years on, they’d probably have been hired by Snoopy himself. :-)

What happened to the baseball story? They were winning!!

And yet, Snoopy returns to his RED doghouse in today’s Peanuts strip

My former boss, after we’d been at Def Con 1 for a couple of years, once asked me to help him choose between two virtually identical shades of blue for a presentation. “What do you think?” he asked.

I replied, “I think that no matter which one I pick, you’re going to come up with half a dozen reasons why you should go with the other one, so I’m not going to waste my time on it.”

I was transferred away from him the next day.

And thus was born the Sopwith Camel.
