Looks like John L. Springstein dabbles into human trafficking. VB I had a look at my crystal ball and it said that you will have sunny skies this weekend. It might need new batteries but I am not sure if there is still some left on the shelves. This made in China crystal ball acts weird when the battery is running out of juice.Stay safe, VB, and to everyone.

John L. is well connected, it appears. Transit to Cuba “shouldn’t be a problem.” I wouldn’t be overly confident. Here is the lament of someone who went to Havana, got into trouble, and fled on to Honduras. Has either Specs or Spicy ever been to Cuba before? Does either speak Spanish? How do they expect to get along once there?

It’s funny to me that John doesn’t seem unnerved by the funny eyeglasses at all.

In yesterday’s strip, Specs made it sound like Spicy wouldn’t know John (or even of John), but today’s strip makes it clear that they have met before.

Everyone stay safe. While you can, get stocked up on groceries, and water, and salt. Don’t go about shoveling snow, after all, unless it’s an emergency, it’ll be gone soon. Salt will clear up paths even if it will take a bit more time.

My Verizon FiOS is powered via my household current so my internet and landline die when the power fails. Heat is fan driven. My big fear is the loss of heat for what could be several days. I have ECHO, my Apple iPhone for voice and internet and I have several “power banks” to keep it charged for days and days. .Updated prediction is 30"+ beginning shortly.

I was able to access GoComics on my iPhone and logged in. I can read the comic strips but not the comments. Is there something that I have overlooked?.If I lose power and you guys don’t hear from me, you’ll know what has occured. I’ll ask 22ph to relay messages for me.

Yes, it does seem strange for Specs to wear the glasses all the time, especially if he doesn’t want to be noticed by those looking for him! But maybe he enjoys looking thru other peoples’ clothing?

In the Midwest we had “Little Bill,” the result of cruel genetic experiments involving a light bulb and a bird.

There is something a little odd about that guitar – it has six tuning pegs and six strings, but the frets appear to stop short – they don’t go all the way across the fret board. (It was the first thing I looked at this morning, because I play guitar and am always interested in the way artists depict them.)
