In NY state, you can’t get fired for going on strike when you are a teacher that is teaching in a public school. But you may be fined 2 days pay for each day on strike. That has happened, but not very often.
Maybe they fired her because she’s mentally unstable. After all, in the past she’s crawled up the chalkboard, and run down the hall screaming and throwing envelopes all over the place.
