What is this “Find-it” thing that cartoonist has in every one of his/her comics?

Bread and eggs on the bottom. Watermelons and anvils on the top.

Not a good idea to allow Burl to take on such an enormous task responsibility..

You mean the professional 16 year old that puts the bread on the bottom and a 10# can of beans on top.

I was at the grocery store once, and the woman in front of me bagged her groceries while the clerk checked her out. Then she went to the customer service desk and complained that the cashier did not thank her for bagging her own groceries.

They would fit right in at ALDI or Save-A-Lot. You bag your own. It doesn’t bother me at all.

That grocery “professional” makes $20+/hour. More than Burl will ever achieve.

Not so. Take Burl’s weekly pay and divide by the 2.5 hours he actually works. And that’s just if the area manager spends 2 hours with him, and he spends .5 trying to explain to his minion what to do.

Am I the only one who really can’t figure out how she is standing and where – and which – her arms are? Is she facing forward or backwards? That appears to be her backside, but then she looks all twisted like her upper body is facing towards us with her belly hanging out.

Burl considers himself a professional at everything…
