Girls, girls … (ages 10 to 103) … let this be a warning….
If we can ever go to crowded restaurants again.
No matter how much you enjoy your little trips to the ladies’ room with all your friends….
(something I will say, at the risk if of losing points on my “girl card” , I have never understood anyway… )
even if you’re all just dying to traipse off and compare lipsticks, or borrow each other’s darling little folding hairbrushes.
In fact, this table seems to have only two temporarily missing occupants…
and one probably found it next to impossible to walk across the restaurant without the other.
But you’re just going to have to buck up, sweetie… put on your big girl panties and make the trip alone…
Otherwise look who will have moved in while you were gone.
I can just picture it:
Burl saying “This coffee is too hot”.
Joy saying “Well, this cup of coffee is too strong.”
And Verla chiming in with " Hey, this cup of coffee was juuust right."
And unlike the fable… all three of them drinking all your coffees right up….
BTW… found the baseball cap…

Wait till the bill comes. 15.00 for 3 cups of hot water and creamer. Not to mention what the plates cost for whatever they brought to eat.
…“Someone” will probably be about 225-240 lbs, each purse-bearer, and have muscles like Der Ahhhh-nold and matching emotional hair-triggers……a pair of real six-shooters………

Oh I see…. they brought their own coffee bags to dip in that hot water. Pretty smart. Will have to try that at Starbucks…some day.
