They have a hard time traveling, now that all the Howard Johnson’s have closed along the highways.
Imagine, just having to hope that each new city will have a McDonald’s, or a Denny’s.
and what about Waffel House….?
Googled a couple of those restaurants and found our friends, the Pennys, are visiting Lincoln, Ill. The populace should’ve been warned ahead of time.
Homegrown restaurants can be real gems, but can also be dumps. However, locals usually don’t recommend the dumps.
I think I hear the slap-slap sound of the meter maid’s shoe-soles approaching……….
What about a Kettle, or a Shoney’s or a DQ Grill&Chill?
Those two would probably be most at home under the Golden Arches.
