Valerie couldn’t find any of the places the dog found. Watch your step.

Like that TV ad, the grass seems to grow over night. Val should have a hay field by now.
Dig out the cutter bar and go for it.

How long will Valerie will keep her mom is another question. Its going boring after while, she’ll miss her boy-toy.

Mom now knows who much she’s been missed. Family first.

when i see a lawn like that all i can think is “oh god the ticks!”

She just needs a good lawn boy. Don’t mistake your grass cutting skills for love. Maybe if she had one less cup of tea, there would have been some time to cut the grass. I used to love mowing the lawn because it gave me 30 minutes of peace.

Why arent the girls taking care of the lawn?

Ummm, Val? Two daughters old enough to push a mower? Able-bodied nephew living next door?
Where exactly is the problem, Val?

if the kids were to do the work then where would the humour be in a neatly(?) mowed lawn? btw my next door neighbour’s yard looked like that. we used to mow it until the dog do-do showed up after she started tying it up in front. She didn’t clean that stuff up either. Thankfully she’s moved.

get a goat or a lamb……that’ll keep the grass down.

My yard’s starting to look like that too. Son is supposed to mow it, but always finds some excuse to delay getting out there. (Too wet, too hot, etc.) At least I’m around to nag him to do it. Val’s at the office.

That’s our backyard right now. 1) lawn mower broken 2) no $ or time to fix it 3) long work hours & 4) it’s been too hot & humid to chop it down with the weed wacker.

That doesn’t need a lawnmower. It needs a machete.

I do that with snow.
