Raising daughters is something you may not look forward to.

Not when one of them didn’t pay much attention in geograhpy class this past school year.

I had guests a few years ago from Australia, they came in December and couldn’t figure out why it was so cold in Oregon. So Alix isn’t alone in her thinking. Mind you these were adults also lol

Question remains, where is her boyfriend?

Yep, even water drains backwards………. Why did all the spectators at World Cup wear coats. Dang it was HOT here. LOL!

I guess its one of those things that is hard to believe until you experience it either way.

I thought Alix was smarter than that…sheesh.

Holly, whatever you do don’t try to explain the International Date Line to Alix. I spent 14 hours on a plane from Sydney to Los Angeles and landed four hours before I took off.

Add me to those who think that Holly explaining a concept like this to Alix is rather a strange role-reversal. Maybe Alix is just PLAYING dumb?

Alix is small. There’s naturally a lot of things she doesn’t know yet.

And I don’t see Holly really explaining anything. She’s just like, ‘Ah, doofus, how come you don’t know?’.

I think Hekko’s given the best explanation. Alix has a lot going for her, but she’s not one of these whiz-kid little siblings like you see elsewhere. She sometimes shows more sense than Holly, but she’s also often naive.

I think Alix is just being sarcastic.
