On one interview he was asked about his bankruptcies. He said he didn’t lose money, the people that lent him money lost money. He went on to say that it served them right, they were not nice people.Moral of the story, don’t give anything to the Donald you don’t want to lose.

Perhaps some of our so called advocates of free speech couldn’t handle the truths Michael wme ladled out. If he turns up at my site I’ll ask him.

Michael_wme always wrote comments that were informed, entertaining, and educational. In ironic guise, he managed to expose the hypocrisy and nonsense around an issue.

If somebody complained about him, I suggest that the complainer be banned, and bring back Michael_wme.

How can a guy who started out with a “small million dollar loan” from his father, and who has since declared bankruptcy four times call himself anything but a “loser”?

I vote to reinstate Michael-wme also, despite the fact that I don’t actually remember anything he said. There’s no point in having a place to waste your time spouting off if it’s limited to those who haven’t offended anyone. If I want to ignore someone I don’t consider worth reading, simply skipping over it works quite adequately.

Why do you believe that he was banned? I don’t mean on what grounds, I mean why do believe that, since he is not posting, that is the reason. Is there any reason to believe that maybe he just got a life and doesn’t have time anymore?

He never lost anything personally, except his yaught and airplane in the first bankruptcy. The people who invested with him and those who lost their jobs and pensions because of it took the hit.

Tell the mods, not me. I only know it happened. Hell, the guy who was getting other posters kicked out even bragged about it in his way. Every time it would happen he’d make a little change to his screen name to signify how many posters he’d gotten suspended. First he added ‘X1’ at the end of his name, then X2, then X3, etc.

There has been conversation on the editorial comment sites today concerning banning some people from the the site, or at least not printing their comments. Does this actually happen? If so, what are the rules that apply? I seriously object if this is the case. My family gets most of our news from MNSBC and the Daily Show. My son works with people who get most of their news from Fox and Rush Limbaugh. The great value of this forum is the ability to be anonymously offensive, and it IS of great value. I want to hear from people who offend me and offend them back. It’s great therapy, allows views that are “out there” to be aired, and I am reasonably sure it has provided the outlet to prevent more than a few homicides.

Some guy on another thread just openly called Obama the, ‘n-word’.Let’s see what happens to HIM.

I’ve been reading the many comments, on this strip and others, concerning the supposed banning of michael_wme. How does anyone know he was banned? Perhaps another commenter hereon is a friend of his in real life and has been told of this by Michael himself? As someone else points out, could he not have simply left of his own accord, gone on a trip, become ill and unable to go on-line, or (I hate to suggest the unfortunate) solved the mystery of what lies beyond?

I find it easy to explain how Trump can look Presidential.

Everyone looks Presidential when compared to the current ‘leadership’ and the Dems who want to lead.

The problem isn’t just that Trump is loud, stupid, racist, and a crybaby. The problem is that he’s crazy! He thinks Obama was born in Kenya. There’s the SAME amount of evidenced for that as there is that Trump himself was born in Kenya. One position is not more crazy than the other—they are equally crazy. (The old cliche’ of the patient in the asylum who thinks he is Napoleon springs to mind. If another patient thought that he himself was Julius Caesar, one position would not be more crazy than the other.)

Sometimes appealing to censors doesn’t work, but when rational folks who appeal in numbers appeal to the readers for support, it sometimes works to expose truth? Satire is hard to write well, and hard for those limited in perspective, intellectually, or politically, to comprehend, but they are easy to offend.
