Simple greed is so palatable. People trying to overcome their own prejudices are just such suckers, and should learn to revel in their character flaws by calling them virtues.

This year marks the 45th. anniversary of Doonesbury, despite daily rerun mode still going and first run Sunday still going.

Somehow I suspect Trudeau (Garry, not the new Canadian PM Justin) chose to repeat this story arc with great intent.
