Making lesson plans is an ongoing activity. It’s constantly on a teacher’s mind, and takes dedication and perseverance. Student needs vary with each class, too. They went back August 13th in my county in WV. I am retired, but I agree with emptc12, you can see teacher’s car’s in school parking lots all summer (only 7 weeks this year). Except for those taking classes in college working on their Masters Degrees. Teaching is a full time job.
