I’ve never understood wanting to sneak in ahead of time to see what your gifts are. I’ve known numerous people (adults!) who always try to do this. To me, the anticipation of “what’s in this oddly shaped box?” (or whatever) is at least half of the fun of receiving gifts for Christmas, birthdays, etc.!
