It doesn’t zip when it moves, bop when it stops, whirrr when it stands still? Dill doesn’t know just what it is, and I guess he never will!

Something ugly that sighs, groans, spits, sparks and farts….sounds just like something my ex used to drag around.

I always wondered what kids would want a toy from the Island of Misfit Toys. I should have known Dill would be one of them.

Other than the train with square wheels (which wasn’t just a misfit, it was non-functional), I thought the Misfit Toys were pretty cool. Then again, I think Pixar missed a sure hit when they didn’t market a “Buzz Lightyear/Mrs. Nesbitt Tea Party Action Playset.”

That DOES look like something from under Sid’s bed in Toy Story 1, doesn’t it?

The “Sid’s Toybox” collection was another missed bet. A set of toy parts that can be matched into a number of identifiable items, but can also be mixed into disturbing conglomerations…

You’d think Pixar would have learned by now to check with me on these things, but so far they haven’t called. (Guys, I can get to Emeryville on an hour’s notice, 24/7. I’ll even do what I can to reconcile John Lasseter and Chris Sanders. Heck, I’ll empty your trash cans if it’ll get my foot in the door, and give me access to the company store.)

Its a panel like the last few that make me glad the Washington Post is running CdS on “Style” page 2 next to Doonesbury - we get to see it in color in the morning paper! You ROCK Richard!

Hey, Dill, it might make a good cat toy (maybe for a slightly deranged cat, but still….)
