    America’s taxes are lower than most other countries, and it shows – in the schools, the roads, the medical care. (America has the highest infant mortality rate of any industrialized country – higher than UK, Scandinavia, Europe, etc.)

    They just give them different names. I can see them paying a company to not pollute and then funding it with an “Air” tax. Went to an outdoor event, part of the bill for the event had a Fireworks tax.

    And, if you buy something big & important like a car or house, they tax you every year for keeping it…until they tax you again for selling it.
