Are those marble to baseball sized floating spheres dittos that are drifting into the column and being carried up? I like the way some of them are clustering around the balloon eye in the last frame. Maybe `Lil Aaron will give Wally the balloon as a parting gift.

I was sorta hoping that the next arc would be taking Kirbee back to Endtown. She and Trace were made for each other.

This is looking more and more like the time Flask died. So is Wally dead?

Okay I’m beginning to get this. We are at the stream of souls where Aaron Marx was able to get Flask reincarnated as an adult. I’m guessing that Wally is still alive, is dreaming and that Marx has hijacked his dream to bring him here for some reason. I’m puzzled by young Marx’s words.“Your end chose your beginning.”At first I thought it meant that Wally died and was being reincarnated but that doesn’t make sense.Curiously, the stream of souls looks smaller than when Flask was recycled here. I wonder if the person who is “stealing shoes” has something to do with this.

That isn’t Marx. It’s Chic. Read the dialog in Chic’s voice, and notice the patterns and the words are the same. And The Eye in the Sky is Irving. The Alan Parsons Project song The Eye in the Sky could be the theme of this scene.

I think I need to re read from the beginning. ( Nice to be challenged) Excellent work and good plotting. Like the allusions and symbolism.

Curious. Since Wally knows of Aaron Marx, why does he not recognize him in this form? Perhaps Marx wants to provide him with insights that he would not get on his own.And what of the liquid Oracle?…

This is not the afterlife….it is the zone between the realities. That thin separation between one reality and the next. Marx moves in this area as he has the device that allows him to do it. Why Wally is there is a mystery for now. Shoe theft should be a police matter.Our author has plans, wonderful plans. I sit back now being his Patreon and enjoy the ride.

This isn’t a young Marx or Chic. They are elements of Marx and Chic that (God, maybe) borrowed from Wally’s mind to communicate with him. “Shoes” is apparently “souls” sort of mistranslated. (God, maybe) needs Wally’s help to stop the soul stealer.Or maybe he really did mean shoes. Shoes are what people use to walk. Without shoes, people can’t walk to Here and move on to the next life. Someone may be stranding souls.

Like an Oracle, the statements the boy is making can be interpreted in many ways.

I’m inclined to think, yeah, this is a kid version of Aaron Marx. But it could still be somebody else.

I just noticed the way Marx’s eye is straining towards the Well. I think Marx caught a particular soul, tied it to a string and painted the pupil on it. I wonder if that’s either Sarah or Jim.
