Reminds me of when my 4’ 9" Grandma read the ‘riot act’ to my 5’ 9" Mom, one Mother’s Day. In addressing her(my Mom), Grandma used ‘all four names’, not just the three with which she was born(GGSM-Given, Given, Surname, Married) ! ! ! ! !

To me, in the last panel Val looks like she has morphed from an adult with all the worries of the world upon her, to a child without a care. Hope she stays that way.
