Bruce, when my brother moved there in 1961, he said 1,000 people were moving to California every day. That’s when someone should have noticed that such a rate of population growth in a semi-desert region was unsustainable. And people STILL move in.
They mentioned water storage and reverse osmosis years ago – no one wanted to increase their taxes to pay for it. Everyone here bitches about it but mention bonds or taxes and apparently it’ll fix itself. Not unlike our infrastructure that’s falling apart around us.
