The bad news will be that his wrist will be too big for the watch band.

Apple Watch & Google Glass. 2 of the most worthless ideas that tech has come out with. Not practical.

    1. If he gets only one arm worked out, it will look like something else. He will have to walk with Kathy everywhere around so people don’t think otherwise. And no, people will not believe if he tells them he bought it for fitness

    2. I have always seen all smart watches (announced that way, since not every gadget that goes on the wrist is a smart watch, or I don’t see ‘Garmins’ like that anyway) as something useless, but Apple takes the cake on that aspect. A smaller screen to make just a few things you can do with the larger screen you are already carrying in your pocket, because it will not work if you are not already carrying you phone, with a larger screen (and which you can operate with only one hand, instead of the two that you require to use your watch). The battery does not last a day (but you can make it last till night if you use it ‘only’ as a watch), so, do you plan to carry around a charger, like you do with your phone? and do you plan to take it off while it charges or do you plan to carry it turned off, without being able to even tell time and wait to charge it at home for the next day?

My guess: people who will wear it are fanboys that have to prove Apple did not screw up, but will find it like a drag, adding more steps to the things they used to do, yet they will insist on replying messages by typing on such a small screen and giving unrequested explanations to people around them that this is the best way to do it, and after a few months, they will be archived in a cabinet, but they will insist in forums that even though smart watches are useless, Apple’s was the best (even if it does the same as every other thing out there, yet things like moto 360 look like a real watch and have a more lasting battery)

I already have an Apple watch. I have had it for a couple of years now. It was called the Apple nano, except its square and I bought the holder that made it a watch. I just recently had to change the watch band, and I can’t make calls, but it does everything else the new Apple watch does.
