Don’t know if they still do it but way back in the last century 1st grade teachers drew smiley, sad & straight line faces on our work. A foreshadowing of times to come. Sure shows how important and influential those teachers are.

I actually wouldn’t mind being graded by emoticons. At least maybe then I’d see evidence of some remorse on the teacher’s part for failing me.
