Subtle difference….

Pretty much the same for all government “benefits”

No, it’s a huge, obvious difference.

The school lets out, though.

As to “benefits.” Let’s see: police and the military, roads and bridges, public schools, farm and corporate subsidies, Social Security, tax write offs for mortgages and charitable contributions – as well as some less deserving, perhaps. Do you have a disabled son or daughter getting benefits? Need I go on? “I don’t get anything from government.” Surrrre, you don’t.

you left out firemen, garbage collection, public parks, ….

My school definitely looked like a prison, including very tiny windows no more than a foot across.

Warehousing the distractions at the lowest possible cost.

Staying in one may lessen the chance of staying in the other.

I fixed the computers at an architectural firm that designed schools and prisons. The main design differences was the door locks and barb wire or electrified razor wire on the top of the fence.

Well public schools are training facilities for the other.
