I got one of those things once. Never saw the cat again.

When I got out of college I had a TV like that. My roommate’s cat would lie on top of it with his tail hanging straight down the center of the screen.

So that’s why the Glass Cat was invented in the Oz books!

Back in the bad old days that may have been a problem. Our big screen is hanging on the wall way too high to be blocked by kitty. She just lays on the couch watching TV with us now.

My furry boy would lay on my chest and block my view of the television. My view is unobstructed these days, and I miss watching television from behind a purring mound of cat fur.
