Liberals helped create a government where when they’re in the majority they can do what they want, and when they’re in the minority they can obstruct what they want. The part they hate is that the other party gets to do the same.

God! I get tired of this song! The USA is a democracy, period. get that through your thick heads. It is set up as a representative republic. Even my High School US Government course was titled “Problems of Democracy.” You intellectual mouth-breathers need to get the stick out and start realizing that semantics are more than a little unimportant in our world. The rest of us are busy trying to protect the rights of all citizens to register and vote—a democracy!
The people are governed by the burrocracy for the status quo. Just keep enough people comfortable enough to prevent popular uprising, & disillusioned enough not to realize they could change things if they’d bother to register & vote 3rd party. Not that 3rd parties would be better with as much power, but maybe more parties would dilute the power of the big 2 who only care to help themselves & screw the other.

We don’t live in a democracy, we live in a republic. We don’t run the government, we elect people who run the government.
I love my government. I mostly dislike the people we hired to run it.

P.S. Almost none of the candidates I vote for get elected. I take pride in being smarter than more than 50% of the voters.
