Internet only strips, such as this one, have a different deadline than those that appear in newspapers. Since, as I wrote earlier, this appeared in his blog yesterday, that’s probably when he submitted it to GoComics.
As tragic as the event was, most survived, including all the passengers. Most of the deaths were crew members at landing stations among the lifting gas bags.
