Max needs some attention, negative or not. Best thing to do..ignore the little monster!Better yet…buy him his own and see how long he keeps this up!(I speak from experience!)
First son didn’t use a pacifier. Second son did. First son called second a baby for using one si second tossed it into the garbage “Me no baby” End of pacifiers.
Neither of my girls would take a pacifier but my youngest sucked her thumb. Breaking her of that habit was tough you can’t throw away a thumb. I finally decided to limit where she could suck her thumb until the only place she could suck it was in her bed. After that, I didn’t care if she continued. It didn’t take long for her to quit.
We had a boy in our congregation who carried a pacifier in his mouth for so long I was wondering if we could find one in his high school colors. And then, one Sunday, he took it out of his mouth and dropped it in the collection plate. End of pacifier.
Daughter #1 spit out her pacifier for good before she was a year old. Daughter #2 was in it for the long haul, till an incident occurred that I will do you the huge favor of not describing in graphic detail, and I had to throw the pacifier away. Thus ended Pacifier Days.

Maybe everyone in the house (adults included) should start sucking on pacifiers too to show Max how ridiculous it looks.

Maybe it’s one of those suckers that look like pacifiers (AKA ‘binkies’).
