See, here’s where baby Trey comes into it. All that apparent bouncing around to different plot threads at the beginning of this story is all coming together. Should be interesting. Stiletta is not going to go back to Europe. She’s finally in a position to try getting what she’s wanted to get for a while: revenge on Tracy.

A possible baby kidnapping in the works?

About the discussion on cashing Stiletta’s check. There is an app available for smart phones that many banks are now using. It allows you to take a picture of the check, front and back, and deposit it electronically. Problem solved.

Another thought balloon. That makes two this week.

Woo gosh! So, Walter is Blowtop’s real name? Woo gosh!How did Stiletta come by a picture of the new little Tracy? Does she have a mole in the hospital? Might this be the foundation for a scheme to pressure Dick Tracy? Mrs. Flattop is very devious, hates Tracy, and is willing to go to any extreme, I think….

Stiletta isn’t necessarily showing Blowtop a picture of Baby Trey on her cell phone. Tracy is a very famous individual and the birth of his grandbaby is probably in the news. Stiletta might be showing Blowtop a news website on her cell phone.

Walter seems to want to avoid any trouble. He doesn’t realize that Tracy doesn’t really capture anyone anymore but usually needs help to get out of jams!

Maybe Stiletta wants a new baby to replace one of her her two dearly departed children… Hmmm….

Stiletta is going to pay Tracy back “An eye for an eye”… HE took HER kids from her, and now SHE’S gonna take HIS grandson!

i could very easily see Stiletta kidnapping Trey leading to a huge chase across town, and ending up at City Lagoon Park with the Historic (and approprietly significant) Replica of the Santa Maria.

BTW, whatever happened to Vitamin’s affinity for “Bromo”?

(Wonder if Joe Period is up for parole yet? maybe released for ’good behavior"? it would be interesting to see the blackhearts make a play for him and somehow manage to get him free from prison and have him work with stiletta)

To retropop: There was a accidental kidnapping of Bonnie Braids when she was a baby when Crewy Lou stole Tess’s car not knowing Bonnie was in the backseat.

Hmmm, looks like someone’s distain for all things Locher is blinding them to the fact that during the past 3 years Dick has caught maybe 2 or 3 villains by himself. All the rest were either captured by others or wound up killing themselves; Measles, Sweaty, etc. In fact Tracy has been saved by others more times than he’s caught someone. “Just the facts and nothing but the facts please!!!

When Blowtop was first introduced by Chester Gould, there was a subtle aspect of his personality that Mike and Joe may have missed: it was not the big things that upset him so much as the little annoyances around him. He was sitting in his apartment with a suitcase full of marked money that the rest of his gang slipped him, so that he was unable to spend any of it. His two remaining gang members were constantly rubbing his face in this fact, and basically calling him stupid, a bungler, etc. Yet what, caused him to “blow up” was when one of them would dribble ashes from a cigarette into a coffee cup, or talk with a cigarette dangling from his lips, or breath down his neck while he was reading the paper. That’s what made his initial appearance so interesting, and somewhat comical.

@retropop(Besides, wasn’t there a Baby Bonnie, Baby sparkle or Baby Honeymoon kidnapping story in the past?)There were several times during the period when Sparkle and Bonnie were just kids that they either went missing or were outright kidnapped. Crewy Lou took Bonnie by mistake, T.V. Wiggles took Sparkle on purpose, and both kids were on a boat that went out of control on a lake once when Tracy was shot by Tonsils, and the boat disappeared for a couple of weeks. This was all during Gould’s tenure on the strip; I don’t know what else may have happened when other writers took over.

On Halloween of 2002, Jewel Tracy was kidnapped by a child molester. She later escaped and was on the run. She didn’t get back home till December 12th.

On 07/17/2011, Honeymoon Tracy was captured by B-B Eyes after she hid in the back of his truck when his henchmen Screwball and Cueball took the evidence DVD’s from their home before the F.B.I. came to pick them up. B-B Eyes attempted to kill her with the exahust from the truck, but she was rescued by Tracy and Sam in the nick of time.

When I read Mrs. Flattop talking, I hear Eartha Kitt’s voice.

Speaking of “bringing back from the dead”, when are we going to see Still Da Man and none-other-than-Mattie, himself, reappear? They are both about due for parole, aren’t they? RWM, are you on the Parole Board?

And in the tradition of the Tracy family, it looks like Trey’s about to be kidnapped.

Neil, Rikki gave me a choice, spiders or her pet snakes. I preferred the spiders.

N-G: The spiders are perfectly welcome to sleep by themselves, as far as I’m concerned.

VB, it would depend on what type of snakes they were. I don’t think I’d go for the venomous kind and definitely not constrictors.
