Shouldn’t the li’l snow pile be crushed under Alice’s weight while on the sled?

They need to come visit me. Lots and lots of snow to go sledding on.

I wonder what the winter was like the year that this was written. I wish we were down to one little pathetic pile like that this year.

Surely, it is a hardened, tough, veteran snow pile, reduced though it be, well able to support Alice and her disk-sled. The trip down will be very short for Alice, however; she ought to give Dill and Beni their chances, too!

This is like when my BFF and I took a long walk through our kind of run-down neighborhoods in the northwest part of St. Pete. We had one skate between us, and we shared it.

I’m waiting for Alice to do another face plant. :P

Please come to Boston.
