Say!I see green eggs and ham!I do! I see them, Sam-I-am!And now I’ll draw them by a truck! And I will draw them in this muck!.And I will draw them in the street..The pigs so pink. The chickens’ feet! The buckets spilled. And now they’re green!.The nicest accident I’ve seen!I will draw them with a pencil. So many times I’ll need a stencil.I will draw them here and there.Say! I will draw them every where!

It’s so interesting how some guys’ll see the truck halves empty, and some Geisel sees the truck halves full… of inspiration.

Is this why Sam did not like green eggs and ham?? He was the driver and did not want to relive the horror of such a horrific scene??

Sam (aka Sam-I-Am) was the one who was offering the green eggs and ham to an unnamed person on the story, who was the one that kept insisting he didn’t like them. He wasn’t Sam.

It appears that one truck was halfway across the intersection when the other truck plowed right through the trailer. Or, wait. It was the other truck that plowed through . . . Or . . . Hmm. And to think that I saw it on Mulberry Street.
