… & before that, Snoopy belonged to Lila, but was returned.

Patty put Charlie Brown in her hope chest for her future marriage at one point. The resulting lack of air probably was what changed Charlie Brown’s personality so much……..

I don’t think Lila shows up until the late 60’s. Unless I am mistaken (and I am sure I will be corrected if I am (snerk)), this strip is from the early 50’s..It doesn’t matter all that much, as these strips are new to almost everyone here. I was born in the 40’s and I can’t remember ever seeing Peanuts in my early years. Now Dick Tracy, Li’l Abner, Blondie, and Beetle Bailey; those I can remember…
