Oh how the tables have…. errrr… flipped?

Who is that? It doesn’t look quite right for early Shermie, but maybe because they colored the hair brown instead of black? I thought he appeared a few days ago looking like himself, but I can’t imagine who else this could be….

I think it IS Shermy, but all the Peanuts characters looked different in the earlier days of the strip. They evolved visually as they also took on individual character traits. I always felt the early Peanuts was quite different from what I grew up with in the late Sixties and early Seventies.

Shermy changed quite a bit, Charlie Brown even more so, Snoopy the most. (Well, not true: Schroeder, Lucy, and Linus started out as babies, but you know what I mean.) Violet will be popping up any week now.

Dogs are experts at making you feel guilty while eating without feeding them some, mine sure are! I think that is Sherman, bye the way.

Yup, that’s Shermy.

In those early strips it was hard to determine where Snoopy lived or whose dog he was.

The way that Snoopy looks in these comics make me feel bad the way he is treated.
