There is ever-increasing evidence-based science that following some form of a dietary lifestyle that is low carb and involves time restricted feeding has tremendous health benefits for most people. Most of our diseases of aging are not “normal” or inevitable and are caused by the insulin resistance and inflammation that comes from following the Standard American Diet, not to mention a huge cause of the “underlying conditions” that so many are having bad coronavirus outcomes from. I have come to believe that everyone should learn how to become “fat adapted” and “metabolically flexible” and why you want to get into a state of autophagy on a regular basis. You don’t have to do all-in keto every day for the rest of your life — there are degrees and flexibility. I urge everyone to at least learn about it, especially if you’re over 50. You can reverse diabetes, greatly improve autoimmune conditions (including improving chances of getting pregnant w/PCOS), decrease Alzheimer’s risk, fight cancer and generally feel better by improving the health and function of every system of the body. A little sacrifice and suffering today can greatly improve your future health — it’s the ultimate grown-up version of the Stanford marshmallow experiment. Check out Dr. Jason Fung, Dr. Mindy Pelz, Dr. Peter Attia, Dr. Ken Berry, Thomas DeLauer, Dr. Eric Berg, Dr. Anthony Gustin — all sources I’ve come to rely on as highly credible — they practice what they preach, cite the science and don’t push products (though a few have some and/or advertising sponsors). (I have a degree in biology and am a huge skeptic by nature.) At least learn about it and decide for yourself rather than wait until it eventually becomes embraced by mainstream medicine and you’ve lost years and spent money on treatments you could have avoided by starting to do some of these things sooner! If one person reads this and puts it to effective use, it will have been worth my effort….

But if they’re with someone else, they might not live in the same household. Or they might be driving someone else’s car.

Buy regeneratively raised meat! It’s worth the cost difference for your health and that of the planet!

Right, but there is potential that he could have staged the whole event and everyone gets over it easily (if they really didn’t have it), “proving” that it’s not that dangerous and making his (mis)handling of the whole pandemic seem more credible.
