Cake…

Odd, I thought Phil was a sergeant.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Holly’s crush on Andy..I was beginning to wonder.

First, yes, Andy is only a cousin by marriage, absolutely no relation.

Second, it’s been shown that even first cousins can marry without a significant increase in the risk for birth defects. It’s only when it occurs over and over and over again (cousin marries cousin marries cousin, etc.) that it’s bad news all the way around.

Makes me glad my daughter is still in the “cake” phase. :-P

Plus….family and friends of cops get a little card that unless they were driving 80mph on the wrong side of the road…in a school zone…..they wont get a ticket

He made Holly’s day and for Alix more interested in cake.

Andy and Holly are not related. Not any more than most of us are related to each other.

I had really strong cousin worship when I was about Holly’s age and up into high school. It went away of its own volition (and the fact that we lived about 1000 miles apart).

I have a Niece and a Nephew from two different sides of the family who met a college and started dating. When they found out they had the same Uncle. They quit dating, even though they weren’t blood related. Too bad too. That would have been an interesting wedding party… :-)

I think Holly likes a compliment from someone beside her mom and gramma…puts things in a different perspective!

My oldest granddaughter has a big crush on my youngest son. He plays along with it, but she’s 11, so no problem in the offing…
