Val: Would Phil know what he's really IN for...being involved with a woman with children? Wally: Of course not. Wally: Did YOU really know what you were in for when you HAD them? Val: No, but... Wally: Don't worry. He's a grown man who's survived military AND police training. Val: That MIGHT prepare him for teen-age girls.

The only thing that prepares you for teenage girls is being one. Fortunately for him, Val’s girls will never listen to Phil anyway.

When parents have children parents are prepared for what baby will do we learn. With Phil the girls he has to learn from.
SS is suppose to be a funny strip but seems more like real life dealing in real issues.

Tell Wally to take the two girls, so she can have a sleepover with Phil. Remind him of the benefits when the girls drive him crazy.

Kab Buch: I’m sure you realize that a comic strip doesn’t HAVE to be funny all the time. Sometimes the artist needs to say something serious, or the strip becomes more poignant than funny.
And I, too, wonder sometimes how Val can see what’s going on at my house!

When my father and stepmother got married in 2007, my fifth and youngest stepsister was 19. Now she’s gonna be a bride this summer.

I think maybe this is one of the reasons I want to have boys. I was such a moody teenager … i give thanks for my mother’s patience during those years.

NOTHING will prepare you for teenaged girls. It’s an experience unique to each own.
