Maybe I’m naive but I believe old high school rivalries can be laid to rest. Bernice, Luann, and Tiffany can be great friends.

Dang, these dorms ARE huge if Tiffany can have a sofa in her own room.

These are at least two “unannounced” visits to Bern’s room, so far. This one makes three… –

That picture on Tiffany’s dorm wall looks like one of those “canned photos” that appear in picture holders (which was one of the jobs Tiffany did). If so, it does look great. That other picture was too made up, however…I didn’t like it. ;)

It seems that when she wants to , Tiffany can be a pretty cool person… – But she can also “flip the script” and “pull the strings” when she gets the thought….

i am wondering if Tiff is thinking: Why didn’t all these students land in My room and not in Bernice’s room?! Perhaps she might be a little bit jealous? And, already having an admiring group of football players (judging by their body type when they carted in her belongings to her suite), will she try out for “cheer”?! ;)

I feel Tiffany is going to find the males at college are different than she is used to. They may be a little more aggressive than she expects. She may get hurt – badly.

Thus starts the ‘Tiffany gets roofied’ storyline…

Having been a college student, no room is big enough to put in a sofa unless there is a single occupant where the occupant can push the second occupant’s furniture against a wall and stack them. I was a resident assistant and lived in the room reserved for RA so I had a small futon because they removed the second occupant’s furniture from that room as RA was the designated the only occupant. There was a building where they had a more apartment like floor plan, sans a kitchen, where there was a livingroom with separate bedrooms and in-suite bathroom. We 4 roommates rented a sectional. Only students with 3.5 or higher GPA can live in that building – the most highly sought-after of all dorms on campus.

Thought this was a fantasy. Unless they’re using the common room. Probably not.

Tiff’s Barbie style is to different than the other students’ grunge look— how will she be received by other partiers?*(My guess is that everyone else will bail when authorities come, but Tiff will stand by her friend).

Where is Luann?? She hasn’t appeared in this strip for a looong time>

Tiff should be more than welcome, a familiar face..Maybe they can move the party to her suite.

Tiffany’s first?

Having taken my daughter (now a junior) to visit 14 different schools, I too can attest that college dorms (especially freshman dorms) just don’t have that kind of space. Having said that, let’s all remember that this is a comic strip – not reality. A little artistic license is permitted.

I love it when Bern gets all squinty eyed like Clint Eastwood.

Tiffany’s room has space for a couch and a full-length mirror, which already makes it three times bigger than any dorm room I’ve seen. Plus, she is burning candles, prohibted items in dorms. I think Greg Evans could do much funnier stuff if he stuck to more realistic college life. Besides, most universities have such limited space for housing that they encourage students to live off-campus, and both Bernice and Tiffany could easily be commuter students. None of these Bernice strips have made any sense.

It is nice to see Greg taking this story, and these characters, to new situations. I am enjoying the several running story lines.

The first three panels…….eye catching. The fourth panel……………….turn off. No lips, blank expression, wondering if puberty will ever come. The world needs more shallow, hot girls like Tiffany. A guy doesn’t have to bring every girl home to meet momma.

Tiff, that outfit is heading for trouble and it’s taking you with it! YOWZA!

My hub does The Same Thing to me (messing up songs)! I just roll my eyes and snicker…ahaha! ;)

This is a quick “Hi and ’Bye” tonight (Friday night, B4 Saturday’s strip is posted). I overdid it in the yard department and am achy! These old bones don’t quite have what it takes these days! LOL! (I used to be out in the garden for hours and hours…now if I make two hours, I’m doing good!). The problem is that I am planting daffodil bulbs along the south side of the house, and the “dirt” there is hard to dig because it has a lot of gravel in it. So, I spent the better part of 1-1/2 hours digging!
