I had a typewriter of the newest configuration before my first computer. It was a semi-hybrid, as I remember it had spell check and could store phrases and fill a name into all the blanks on forms. I don’t remember for sure. . .
It’s not my fault! I just like gadgets.
I doubt that computers were in every home in 2000.
Well, the comic is from 2000, so the typewriter isn’t a complete anachronism. But it definitely looks strange in today’s world.
I wish to remind everyone once more that Rick Detorie has said that OBH represents an amalgamation of decades.
